It’s oily — won’t it clog my pores?

Sesame oil has a relatively low comedogenic rating and is easily absorbed by the scalp dermis. Unlike mineral oil (which sits on the surface and blocks), sesame oil penetrates. The herbs in the formula also have sebum-regulating properties.

How long should I leave it on?

Overnight is best. Minimum 2 hours for meaningful follicle absorption. The active compounds need time to penetrate the scalp dermis and reach the follicle base. A 30-minute application does very little.

My hair falls more when I oil it. Is this normal?

Yes, and it’s actually a positive sign. The oil loosens hair that was already in the telogen (shedding) phase. These hairs would have fallen anyway — oiling just accelerates the release. New growth follows. Most customers see this increase in weeks 1–2, with reduction beginning week 4.

Will it work for very thick, Indian hair?
